Mold can be found almost anywhere. It can grow on virtually any substance as long as moisture and oxygen are present. When excessive moisture accumulates mold wil often occur particularly if the moisture problem remains undiscovered and unaddressed.

2. Scrub mold off hard surfaces with detergent, bleach and water and dry completely.
3. Absorbent or porous materials such as ceiling tiles or carpet may have to be thrown away. Some mold may be difficult or impossible to remove completely.
4. Avoid exposing yourself or other to mold.
